The Undergraduate Research Program lets TSC students share their own research and creative work with others on campus. All students can take part in the yearly Undergraduate Research Symposium, the program’s main event. At the symposium, judges from different fields pick the best projects, and students may win cash prizes.
Students who participate also have the opportunity to apply for a research fellowship grant. This grant aims to defray the costs of expenses students may incur in the course of undergraduate research projects. Learn more about how to apply here.
All current TSC students who have paid the Student Activity and Service Fee for the semester can join approved student clubs, organizations, and academic teams.

The Undergraduate Research Symposium is the capstone event of Tallahassee State College's Undergraduate Research Program, which initially began in the Fall of 2018. We hope each year's symposium showcases the multitude of research activities in which TSC students participate throughout each academic year.
This symposium and all other activities of the Undergraduate Research Program are coordinated by TSC's Undergraduate Research Council, an interdisciplinary group of faculty, staff, and administrators who volunteer their time and efforts toward making each symposium a success. A tremendous debt of gratitude is owed to them.

This year's Undergraduate Research Symposium would not have been possible without the very generous support of the TSC Foundation. A College Innovation Fund grant provided much of the financial support for this year's symposium, including refreshments, production of publicity materials, the printing of high-quality full-color posters, and the cost of printing this booklet. We are so grateful to all of the TSC Foundation's generous donors for their support of this worthy cause.
