Tallahassee Community College is announcing new leadership in the Student Services department.
Ryan Preatto has been selected as the Director of Student Services. Preatto will be responsible for providing strategic vision and management for the Counseling Center, Student Accessibility Services, Student Emergency Relief and the Office of Student Life.
Preatto comes to TCC from McNeese State University in Louisiana, where he served as the Director of Student Activities and Cultural Engagement since 2019. He also held other student-related roles including Multicultural Engagement Coordinator and Admissions Counselor for minority populations.
“I am truly looking forward to being a part of a well-established institution and leader in education,” said Preatto. “I am excited to contribute to the quality of academic accomplishments and the student success environment at TCC.”
Preatto received his associate degree from Delgado Community College. Additionally, he earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s degree in criminal justice from McNeese State University.
“Ryan’s ability to work collaboratively with faculty and his innovative approach to offering student-centered programs were important as we welcome students back post-pandemic,” said Dr. Gerald Jones, Associate Vice President of Student Affairs at TCC.
Preatto is a member of the Southern Association for College Student Affairs (SACSA), the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities (ACPA), and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
