Tallahassee Community College’s Spark program focuses on fueling the passion of local entrepreneurs by providing them with the tools and foundational skills needed to launch or grow a successful business. The introduction to entrepreneurship is a comprehensive hands-on class offered in the spring and fall semesters and includes subject matter experts from the industry. The fall class begins August 29 – December 5, 6-9 p.m. at the TCC Center for Innovation, 300 W Pensacola St, Tallahassee, FL 32301. The cost of the 15-week course is $225.
“The TCC Spark program is designed to help those who have an interest in starting their own business or growing their existing business,” said Kimberly A. Moore, Vice-President for Workforce Innovation and TCC2WORK. “The program is hands-on and provides access to everything that you need to bring your business to life or increase the success of your existing business.”
The Spark program supports students and the community by pairing them with local businesses and the start-up ecosystem to provide access to networking, business contacts, mentoring and other community resources. Provided below is an abbreviated list of the areas that will be covered.
